Take the mystery out of building a new home and get all your questions answered from experts at Stratford Homes’ free fall open house event. For nearly 50 years, Stratford Homes has created customized designs that bring the homeowner’s visions to life.
Taking place Saturday, September 29, the open house will include a home building seminar, guided tour of the indoor construction facility, a chance to bring questions and designs to the Builder Exhibit area, and a stroll through four model homes.
Each year, the event attracts anywhere from 300-500 visitors. “The Open House is a great opportunity for anyone who is researching their options to build a new home to learn about the process, see the quality of construction they can expect, and interact with Stratford Homes’ personnel and the independent builders,” said Laura Peterson, Marketing Communications Specialist.
Those who attend a popular informational Home Building Seminar receive $1,000 off a new home. Times are at 10 and 1, and a seat can be reserved by calling (800) 448-1524.
“This seminar provides a great opportunity to learn more about the modular construction process through a systems-built approach. This informative seminar will touch on topics including site preparations by the chosen builder, financing, obtaining permits, floor plan customization, the home’s warranty, and all the steps that lead to move-in day,” said Peterson.
The indoor construction facility offers a controlled, weather-protected environment for building dream homes. “We’ve often heard comments on how fascinating it is to see the size of our facility and how many homes are being constructed at one time all under one roof,” Peterson said.”
Stop by the Builder Exhibit area, featuring 12-18 authorized builders from throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. Builders will be present to answer questions for potential homeowners in an informal setting right by the construction facility.
Volunteers from St. Joseph School in Stratford will hosts concessions on the grounds during the open house. The menu typically includes grilled burgers, brats, hot dogs, hot turkey sandwiches along with baked goods and beverages.
