The “Lest We Forget” Military Exhibition at the Marshfield History Museum will reopen to the public on July 7 from 1:30-4. Hours for the museum will be Wednesday and Saturday at those times.
Located in the basement of the 2nd Street Community Center, the museum has expanded and added to its exhibits, which include a replica of the Louis Rivers log cabin, the first settlement in Marshfield which also functioned as a hotel.
Dedicated volunteers continue to work on setting up exhibits in the expanded space offered by the refurbished former library building. Upcoming exhibits will include or cover Marshfield’s trains, a few items from the Roddis fashion collection, schools, hospital, the Adler family, and much, much more.
