Pamper Your Pupper with Gourmet Meal to Benefit MAPS

Having a great dinner out doesn’t mean you have to leave the pooch at home. Holiday Inn is partnering with Marshfield Area Pet Shelter to provide a gourmet meal for owner and dog alike on June 28 from 5-9 p.m. on the back patio.

“Our former executive chef came from Florida where these types of events were very popular. We decided it would be a great event to host here as it is unique to the area. We couldn’t think of anyone better to share this event with than MAPS!” said Kayla Ashburn, Senior Sales Manager. “We are always looking to grow our relationships in the community and increase exposure to the many great causes, like MAPS, that exist in Marshfield. Plus it’s an exciting, fun event to plan and will be a blast to be a part of!”

For the $30 ticket price, $5 of which benefits MAPS, one can choose between an 8oz filet topped with red wine demi-glaze, grilled chicken breast topped with beurre blanc, or stir fry with summer veggies. Dogs get an unseasoned version of their human’s meals.

“We knew it would be important to have an option for those who do not feed their dogs table food. We reached out to The Country Store, who provides a premium dog food line by PMI Nutrition,” said Ashburn. “They not only joined as a sponsor, they brought a lot of great ideas, and treats, to the table!”

Reservations are accepted until June 27. Call 715-486-1500 to get your seat or table. Holiday Inn plans to hold the event annually.
