Leaves are rustling and the smell of the pumpkin spice latte is wafting through the air. Porches and lawns are filling up with Halloween decorations, and great things are happening in the Youth Services Department at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library!
STORY TIME!! No registration is required…come when you can!
Every Monday in October, 10-10:30 am: Story time for all ages.
Every Friday in October, 10-10:30 am: Toddler Story time.
Saturday Story Time – October 19th, 2:30-3:00 pm: Story time for all ages.
TUESDAY NIGHT = FAMILY NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY!!
Tuesday, October 1st, 6 pm – 7 pm: Fall Craft Night in the JP Adler Family Room. Each child can make a free fall themed craft that can be taken home.
Tuesday, October 8th, 6 pm – 7 pm: It’s LEGO Night in the JP Adler Family Room. Come and create with LEGOs. The rule of the game is to use your imagination. The library will provide the LEGOs. Leave yours at home. This is a family event.
Tuesday, October 15th, 6 pm – 7 pm: Code Busters in the JP Adler Family Room. Learn about programming with this fun and creative coding program. Open to all abilities and interest levels.
Tuesday, October 22nd, 6 pm – 7 pm: Tail Waggin Tutors throughout the first floor of the Youth Services Department. Read to a service animal for 10 minutes. You can bring your own book or use one from the library. Registration is required. Call or sign-up at the Youth Services Desk.
Tuesday, October 29th, 6 pm – 7 pm: Fall Festival with Randy Peterson in the Drendel Room of the 2nd St. Community Center. This will be the 17th consecutive year that Randy Peterson has performed for the library’s Fall Festival. Randy plays guitar, banjo, and mandolin, and sometimes is joined by an all-kid band from the audience. Fun for the entire family!
MAIN STREET TRICK or TREAT
Come and meet Pete the Cat on Central Ave. in Downtown Marshfield during the hours of 4:00-5:30 PM on Friday, October 25th. We promise no tricks, but you may get a treat.
