Fast Casual Restaurant Expands Menu
Nutz Deep II Express Grab & Go has made it easy for guests to take away one of its famous burgers and fish frys.
An expansion of the popular Nutz Deep II downtown restaurant, the Express location is now celebrating one year in business and looking to the future after overcoming a few challenges along the way.
“Being a totally different venue than what we are used to, we had to figure out how to expedite our product out in a totally different manner,” said Ann Dieringer, Nutz Deep II Manager. “We needed to have all of our items at the hand of the guests as soon as they walked in the door, and that was our biggest challenge — ensuring that all of our food was hot ready and fresh at all times.”
The menu features a wide variety of ready-to-go items, including Piccadilly Circus Pizza, Bill’s Lemonade, sub sandwiches, Genuine Broaster Chicken, old-fashioned malts and shakes, and crowlers or growlers of craft beer.
The restaurant had planned to add the commonly-requested broasted chicken to its menu after opening. “That plan became reality as we made some modifications to our kitchen and to the front of the restaurant to accommodate the different warming units and cooking equipment needed,” said Dieringer.
Now, Nutz Deep II Express is able to offer a variety of combo meals, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, everybody’s favorite potato wedges, and a fresh-made biscuits.
“Customers love that they can get a family size of our broasted chicken to take home or to the park for a picnic,” Dieringer said. “The pizza by the slice is a very popular item as well: we offer a variety of different kinds of pizzas for people to choose from that are hot and ready to go!”
Nutz Deep II Express is always look to add new items to all of its menus, so returning guests can look forward to trying new things in the future as the restaurant enters its second year.
“We are looking forward to continuing to serve the Marshfield community in our second year of business and giving Marshfield another dining option!” Dieringer said.
