November Events at Your Library

The leaves have been raked, the snow blower tuned up, and soon we will be going over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving.  In November great things are happening in the Youth Services Department at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.

STORY TIME!!  No registration is required…come when you can!

Every Monday in November, 10-10:30 am: Story time for all ages.

Every Friday in November (except Nov. 29th), 10-10:30 am: Toddler Story time.

Saturday Story Time – November 16th, 2:30-3:00 pm: Story time for all ages.

TUESDAY NIGHT = FAMILY NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY!!

Tuesday, November 5th, 6 pm – 7 pm: It’s LEGO Night in the JP Adler Family Room.  Come and create with LEGOs.  The rule of the game is to use your imagination.  The library will provide the LEGOs.  Leave yours at home.  This is a family event.

Tuesday, November 12th, 6 pm – 7 pm: Code Busters in the JP Adler Family Room.  Learn about programming with this fun and creative coding program. Open to all abilities and interest levels.

Tuesday, November 19th, 6 pm – 7 pm: Have A Bad Day in the JP Adler Family Room.  Celebrate “Have A Bad Day” day by giving yourself “Bad Hair” or make a piece of “Bad Art.”

Tuesday, November 26th, 6 pm – 7 pm: Thanksgiving Craft Night in the JP Adler Family Room.  Each child can make a free Thanksgiving themed craft that can be taken home.

TEEN READ-A-THON

On Monday, November 4th (No School for Public School Students) tweens and teens ages 12-18 can come to the library and read in the comfort of the YA area from 1 – 4 pm.  Prizes will be awarded for each hour read.  Come for an hour or stay for all three.  Registration is required.  Call or come to the Youth Services Desk to sign up.

 

LEGOMANIA

Join the Youth Services Dept. on Friday, November 29th (No School/Black Friday) for a day full of LEGO fun! Hands-on building, crafts, movies and more! Activities running all day long so stop in for a few minutes or a few hours!
