Explore Marshfield – New Visions Gallery Historic Artifacts Exhibit
On December 30, 1916, six physicians (Karl Doege, William Hipke, Victor Mason, Hansford Milbee, Roy Potter, and Walter Sexton) formed the Marshfield Clinic. At that time, it was a revolutionary idea for physicians to work together to provide exemplary patient care, and today Marshfield Clinic continues to be at the forefront of medical care and research. This year, the Clinic celebrates 100 years. To commemorate this historic milestone, New Visions Gallery (located within the lobby of Marshfield Clinic) is hosting a special exhibit full of photos and historic artifacts from the first century of Marshfield Clinic.
In this special video tour, Brian Finnegan, manager of the George E. Magnin Medical Library and History Archive at Marshfield Clinic, shares the stories behind some of the artifacts of Marshfield Clinic’s past.
An open house for the exhibit will take place on Wednesday, June 15 from 4:00-6:00pm at the gallery.
