With summer winding down, new hours have been posted for Hefko Pool.
From Wednesday, August 22 to Tuesday, August 28th, the pool will be open for free swim from 11-11:45 a.m. and for regular swim from 1- 6:30 p.m. It will close for the season on the 28th at 6:30 p.m.
For those missing the water, the swimming pool at Senior High School will be open to the public on Mondays and Wednesday evenings, 5:30-8 p.m., starting September 17, for a small fee.
Another local indoor pool is available at the YMCA at 410 W. McMillan. Daily rates and membership fees apply. Annual cleaning is taking place August 20-September 3. More info on classes and more can be found at this link.
