In response to the recent CDC guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter has rescheduled its first “Whiskers & Wags” fundraiser to Thursday, June 4th from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Hotel Marshfield (2700 S Central Ave). Tickets already purchased for the original March 26 date will be honored on the new date.
“Although we were really excited to share this new fundraiser with everyone, our top priority right now is to ensure the safety and well-being of our community,” said Karen Rau, MAPS Executive Director.

Marshfield Area Pet Shelter is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization serving as a humane shelter for the greater Marshfield area. MAPS is currently operating in a temporary home on West 29th Street in the former airport terminal building and at an Adoption Center within Marshfield Mall. They are currently in the process of building a new shelter on Downwind Drive in Marshfield.
