Breakfast Fundraiser Supports 250 Local Girl Scouts
Cookie season might be over for the year, but Marshfield Area Girl Scouts will continue to serve delicious food this Sunday at their breakfast fundraiser. Hosted at Knights of Columbus Hall in Marshfield, the breakfast will feature all-you-can-eat scrambled eggs, ham or sausage links, toast, hash browns, blueberry/regular Pancakes, and cinnamon /sticky rolls.
“This is a great way to support your local girl scout program,” said Diane Hellmann-Sainterme, Assistant Troop Leader, Troop 6181. “All of our local programming is supported by this fundraiser. The girls have been working hard creating displays to showcase all the amazing things they have been doing.”
There are 250 area Girl Scouts, and the funds raised through cookies sales and at the breakfast supports area events and supplies.
“All money from this fundraiser stays local,” said Hellmann-Sainterme. “There are lots of great donated items available in our silent auction – An autographed Packer football, an autographed UW Badger volleyball, handmade quilt, Mount Olympus tickets, among many others.”
Cost for the breakfast is $7.50/adult, $4.50 children 4-11, under 4: free. Served from 8:00am-11:30am on Sunday, April 2.
