New Pizza Carryout & Delivery Service to be Located Within Family Video
UPDATE 5/8/17: Marco’s Pizza will open on Sunday, May 21st. On that Sunday, they will be offering 50% off their entire menu. Also, they will begin holding a report card program that is available to all students. Details here.
Pizza and movies are a natural pairing, and Marshfield’s Family Video store is excited to welcome Marco’s Pizza to their 707 N Central location in the coming months. Nationally, the sister companies have been working together since 2012, and last year the first Central Wisconsin location opened in the Wisconsin Rapids Family Video.
Offering the pickup or delivery of both pizza and a movie, the partnership is based on convenience. There will be an order window inside the Family Video location for easy carryout service, and Family Video will offer delivery of movies (and games) with online pizza orders. Additionally, customers can give their movies to pizza delivery drivers to take back to the store.
Marco’s Pizza is handmade in the Italian tradition, using fresh, never-frozen cheeses, making the dough in stores daily and using only premium meats and vegetables. Founded in Toledo in 1978, they are the only Top 20 pizza chain founded by a native Italian.
Pizzas will be made in store, with an outside entrance in addition to the Family Video entrance. Along with handmade pizzas, they will offer salads, chicken wings and dippers, garlic bread braids, and oven-baked sandwiches.
“There are lots of option for everyone in the family,” said Jordan Brovick, District Manager. “With the purchase of any large or extra large pizza, you can get a free 5-night movie rental at Family Video. We’ll even deliver and return movies for free.”
The store is expected to open in early May 2017, after finishing the current construction process. Limited in-store seating will be available, though pickup and delivery is the main focus. Operational hours are expected to be similar to that of Family Video.
“We’re really looking forward to moving into Marshfield. We’re excited to hit the ground running there,” said Brovick. “We’re excited and looking forward to getting involved in the community. We can do a lot of fundraisers for schools and other groups.”
