Marshfield Dance Studio Continues Holiday Tradition with 15th Annual Performance of “The Nutcracker”
Submitted to Explore – Main Street Conservatory of Dance will present its beloved production of The Nutcracker (view last year’s coverage HERE) this weekend with performances on Saturday, December 9 at 2pm and 6pm and on Sunday, December 10 at 2pm in the Marshfield High School Auditorium. A wonderful holiday tradition for the entire family, The Nutcracker is the perfect way to introduce children to the power and beauty of classical dance.
The Nutcracker tells the story of a young girl named Clara who is given a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. She encounters the frightful mouse queen before embarking on a journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Young and old alike are sure to be entertained by the loveable characters, colorful costumes, growing Christmas tree, and beautiful dancing that make M.S.C.D.’s The Nutcracker a Marshfield holiday must!
Tickets cost is $10 and tickets are available in advance at Main Street Conservatory of Dance, 1008 S. Cedar Avenue, Marshfield or call 715-384-8584. Tickets will also be available at the door 30 minutes prior to each performance.
