HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It’s 2019 and we are super excited to kick off another year full of fun filled activities at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library! The Weather Outside May Be Frightful…But Our Library Is So Delightful!! We will be closed Tuesday, January 1, 2019, to celebrate NEW YEAR’S DAY! Join us during the rest of January for the following activities:
TUESDAY NIGHT = FAMILY NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY!!
Tuesday, January 8, 6 pm – 6:45 pm: It’s LEGO Night in the JP Adler Family Room! Come and create with LEGOs. The rule of the game is to use your imagination. The library will provide the LEGOs. Leave yours at home. This is a family event.
Tuesday, January 15, 6 pm – 6:45 pm: Join us for Code Busters – Coding and Technology in the JP Adler Family Room! Learn what it takes to write your own computer program. Open to all abilities and interest levels.
Tuesday, January 22, 6 pm – 7:30 pm: MOVIE NIGHT! Come and enjoy a cozy evening in the JP Adler Family Room with a movie and some snacks. Movie TBA.
Tuesday, January 29, 6 pm – 7 pm: Doodle Clubhouse – Doodle Your Dreams! in the JP Adler Family Room. The doodle clubhouse is for all ages. Attend a clubhouse session to learn the power of doodles to unlock your creativity at home, school and work. Visual learning is a great tool for generating inspiration, brainstorming and creating connections with visual cues and new concepts. We’ll use basic shapes to create drawings for the monthly theme.

TEEN HANGOUT
Join our Hosts in the JP Adler Family Room, EVERY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, 3-5 pm, for friends, food and fun! This is open to Upper Elementary, Middle and High School Students.
STORY TIME
No registration is required…come when you can!
Every Monday, 10-10:30 am: Story time for all ages.
**NO STORY TIME ON THURSDAYS OR FRIDAYS FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY. THURSDAY AND FRIDAY STORY TIMES WILL RESUME IN FEBRUARY**
Wednesday, January 9, 9:00 am: Story time at the Oak Avenue Community Center Family Fun Event.
Friday, January 11, 9:00 am: Outreach Story time at ABC Daycare.
