Car Show

July 29th, 2017
Downtown, Free Entry.
Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm

One of the biggest car shows in the midwest, car enthusiasts travel from all over the country to experience the Hub City Days’ Car Show in downtown Marshfield.

“We have people coming from out of state for this car show and the word is spreading. The car show has blown up over the past few years with Rodney Feltz as the car show programmer," said Angie Eloranta, Main Street Marshfield Executive Director. “Last year, they had a little over 400 cars and he expects it to continue to grow.”

Even if not a car enthusiast, Eloranta said anyone can enjoy the show.

“Even if you’re not a car enthusiast you will be amazed at all the different kinds of cars out there, ones that you don’t ever see on the road that people just have locked up in their garages and continue to work on,” she said.

While exploring the many cars and chatting with their owners, visitors can enjoy a variety of other sights and sounds during Hub City Days.

“This event is unique because it’s not just a car show,” said Eloranta. “We have a lot of other activities going on as well. The car show is definitely gaining a lot of popularity across borders and it’s bringing people to our town, giving us the attention we need as a smaller community and it’s bringing in tourism.”

Past years for the event have boasted beautiful weather, Eloranta hopes for another sunny day this year.

“We always have to hope for a sunny day, because rain can really hinder the attendance of a car show, but the last few years we’ve been really fortunate,” she said.
