Hub City Days Car Show to Display Over 500 Vehicles

Kids Pick Favorites for Kids Choice Awards

Car lovers will want to head downtown during Marshfield’s annual summer festival, Hub City Days on Saturday, July 28. The Main Street Marshfield Car & Bike Show, presented by Wheelers Chevrolet GMC, will showcase around 500 vehicles old and new, some of which can’t be seen at any other time.

“We see some cars that that maybe someone off the street wouldn’t think is very special, but it’s just so special to the owners that they want to bring it in and showcase,” said Kaelie Gomez, Executive Director of Main Street Marshfield.

With no entry fee or registration, owners of all kinds of cars have a chance to proudly display their restoration projects, rare models, and more. In lieu of a fee, non-perishable food items will be collected.

This year, the show will be continuous from 100-600 block. Check out the sidewalks to find downtown deals during Mad Market Days. “If you’re not a car lover, you can walk those sidewalks instead and get some great deals, find new treasures, and really enjoy the downtown businesses,” said Gomez.

Running from 10-4 p.m., over eighty trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. Kids can pick their favorite vehicle and submit their choice as part of Kids Choice Awards.

Grave Digger’s Dennis Anderson, professional monster truck driver, will be available during the show to greet fans and sign autographs.

T-shirts will be available by the registration area. Veterans who stop by will receive a free shirt.
