Celebrate the holiday season with beautiful music and unique crafts at the annual Holiday Showcase at Chestnut Center for the Arts on Sunday, December 2 from 10-3:30 p.m.
The event includes unique arts and crafts vendors, live performances by the Marshfield High School Madrigal singers and orchestra, kids ornament making, and wreaths sold by the Boy Scouts.
The orchestra, a new appearance at the Holiday Showcase, will perform at 11:30 a.m. followed by the Madrigal singers at about 1 p.m. “We’ve always had such a great time with the Madrigals, I thought about getting the high school more involved and offering a different set of music,” said Executive Director Adam Smrcka.
Christian band MPK will perform traditional Christmas music with a Celtic flair and Scottish fiddling at 2:30 .
Vendors range from fine arts and jewelry, to natural products, candles, and sweets. “It’s going to be an eclectic blend, so people can do a unique holiday gift,” Smrcka said.
An ornament making party is offered from 10-12 p.m. The cost is $15 per person for kids ages 5-12. Register by calling 715-389-8999, emailing [email protected] or on Eventbrite.
Holiday Showcase is free to the public.
