The Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department has a new fire truck at its disposal.
This week the department debuted “Freddy,” an educational tool that will help teach kids about fire safety. The animated fire truck can move, speak, sound his siren, and play music by remote control. He can also move his eyes and blink.
The department purchased the fire truck through fundraising efforts, and hopes to purchase Andy the Ambulance once funds are available.
