Explore Main Street Marshfield Businesses While Enjoying Unique Food
Each Third Thursday throughout the summer (June – September) several downtown shops will be staying open later than normal, until 7:00pm. (Read more here.) In addition to more opportunities for shopping, on those nights Main Street Marshfield also programs music and activities throughout the downtown. (Currently, they are seeking artists to do fun activities such as face painting or window decorating.)
As part of the celebration, food trucks will be in the downtown.
“People love food! Food trucks are a great addition to any event because it gives people a variety of great foods that they normally can’t get at a restaurant, such as roasted almonds and kettle corn,” said Angie Eloranta, Main Street Marshfield Director.
This Thursday, Razor J’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers will be one of the participating food truck vendors. Most weekdays, owner Jay Harwood can be found downtown from 11:00am-2:00pm selling his burgers, fresh cut fries, and drinks. He is excited to be a part of Third Thursdays.
“These hamburgers are one of my favorite foods and I enjoy sharing them with others,” he said. “I will be at third Thursdays because it is a chance to serve people who might not get a chance to visit during the lunch hours.”
“People should come out to support the local businesses, mingle with their community, enjoy music, food, and the downtown atmosphere,” said Eloranta.
An additional confirmed food vendor for this Thursday includes J Squared Catering (cheese curds, pulled pork, hot beef, fries, etc.). Expect more vendors in the coming months.
