Festival Foods to Host 15th Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day

To give back to the community and raise awareness for our charity partners. The Festival Foods Turkey Trot will create and sustain an event that focuses on families, healthy living, fun, and a sense of community for all ages and abilities.

The Festival Foods Turkey Trot allows participants to partake in either the timed 5-mile run, an untimed 2-mile fun run, or an untimed 2-mile walk and is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. Don’t forget to bring your favorite cuddly companion for the 2-mile Dog Jog.

Event Information

Shirts and bibs can be picked up at the Marshfield High School Fieldhouse between 2:00 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 23 and beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day (11/24).

The Trot starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. The 5-mile runners will start first followed by the 2-mile participants. Stroller participants for both the 5-mile and 2-mile start next. We ask that all slow movers line up at the back of their respective group. Dogs will start after all other participants and will be on the 2-mile course only.

If you’re interested in helping they will have volunteer roles available on Wednesday, Nov. 23 in the afternoon and on Thanksgiving morning. Volunteers will receive a free Festival Foods Turkey Trot shirt!
