There’s no better time than the holidays to get seafood to make family gatherings or nights in extra special. At Festival Foods, Seafood Fest is taking place all month long.

Seafood is a popular item during the holiday season. “This time of year is great to have Seafood Fest because there are so many family gatherings, and seafood seems to be a choice for meals around the holidays and is a definite number one for New Years Eve,” said Kyle Southwick, Meat Department.
Some of the products can’t be found on the shelf at any other time, such as jumbo king crab legs and jumbo lobster tails. These can be acquired for guests but are only readily available on the shelf this time of year.
Festival Foods also partners with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch to stock only seafood that is fished or farmed in ways that minimize the environmental impact.
