Festival Foods Fireworks Show Returns July 4

Family Activities Coming to Fairgrounds

Families can enjoy 4th of July safely by attending Festival Foods’ annual fireworks display.

Festival Foods has sponsored the Marshfield fireworks since 2005 and hosts the fireworks in 22 communities around Wisconsin. This year, the fireworks will return to the Fairgrounds at 10 p.m. for another spectacular show.

“Festival Foods takes pride in providing our communities with a family-friendly event that celebrates Independence day for each of the communities we serve,” said Nina Winistorfer, Community Involvement Specialist.

Families will enjoy the pre-show festivities at the Fairgrounds starting at 4 p.m. on July 4. Food vendors, children’s games, and inflatables are available. Enjoy favorites including cheese curds, french fries, funnel cakes, kettle corn, elephant ears, and pulled pork sandwiches.

Winistorfer herself has fond memories of growing up attending the fireworks.

“Growing up living in Stratford, I remember trying to arrive early at the Fairgrounds in order to get a spot close to the front of the grandstand so I could see the entire show, hear the music and have a comfy seat!” she said. “I was able to attend for several years on July 4 and absolutely loved the show, whether that meant sitting in the grandstands or parking in the grass lot and hanging out around our vehicles.”

For those who wish to watch the show from further away, Christ Lutheran Church offers a popular view from its parking lot.

Reminder: July 4th is a busy day for pet shelters. Keep your pets safely inside!
