Marshfield (OnFocus)- El Mezcal in Marshfield recently launched a new summer drink just in time for their open patio. OnFocus’ own Brandon Bodendorfer sampled the new cocktails, called the “Paloma.”
“It is a great summertime drink,” Bodendorfer said. “It is awesome.”
The Paloma is a classic Mexican drink, one of the most popular mixed drinks in Mexico made with tequila.
The Paloma is made with a grapefruit soda, a pinch of salt, fresh lime juice, a splash of club soda, your choice of tequila, and it is served in a salt-rimmed glass with a lime.
“It’s very good,” El Mezcal Manager Andres Aguirre said. “A great way to drink tequila.”
El Mezcal uses its classic Mexican Jarritos soda to make their mixed drinks.
On their new drink menu, Aguirre said they are also launching a premium piña colada made with top-shelf liquor.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks, as El Mezcal will be launching a full drink menu at their restaurant.
