Win Gift Cards, Get Free Cones at Dairy Queen This Spring
As the seasons change and spring arrives, there are plenty of upcoming deals at Dairy Queen to keep in mind, and some new changes to celebrate.
“The north location has just went through a complete interior remodel with all-new seating, and we welcome all of our DQ Fans to check it out with chances to win a $50 DQ Gift Card with any purchase over $20,” said Laura Cooper, manager. This drawing will occur weekly through May 1 at both locations.
The south location near Wildwood Zoo will be reopening for the season on Thursday, March 15. Hours will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 1-9 p.m on Friday and Saturday. To celebrate, the location will have special deals.
“The south DQ is having a Re-Opening Sale so hot it will melt the snow!” said Cooper. “We will have deeply discounted daily deals on food and ice cream. Sales flyers are available at DQ and on Facebook on Monday, March 12.”
A few of these deals include 69 cent hot dogs and 55 cent dillys on Thursday, $1.99 mini blizzards and 99 pretzel sticks with cheese on Friday, a 99 cent barbecue beef sandwich and a 69 cent shake or malt on Saturday. Sunday is Family Day: buy any combo meal and get the second one free, and small sundaes are just 99 cents.
“We also are starting to stock up for St. Patty’s Day and Easter,” added Cooper. “We are selling Grasshopper Mousse Pie Treatzza Pizzas & 6-inch Mini Cakes (also Grasshopper Mousse Pie Flavors) for $9.99 through March 24.”
Free Cone Day will be March 20, and no purchase is necessary to receive a free small cone.
“We are then amping up for Easter with cakes and our Easter Cupcake Sale!” she said. “6-packs are $9.99, and Easter cake pre-orders before March 29 will put you in a drawing for our Easter Basket or $50 gift card. We also have our Shrimp Baskets and Fish Combo Meals on sale through Easter for only $6.99.”
Although it may feel far away, Cooper said that Dairy Queen is already thinking about the special cakes they will make for Mother’s Day. New blizzard flavors coming this summer will include Jurassic Crunch and Summer Berry Cheesecake. These new flavors launch May 1.
