Aloha from “Cooking With Ruth”
Aloha! Ruth and Gary celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Hawaii. In the latest episode of Cooking with Ruth (& Gary), they made Macadamia Nut Cookies with Mauna Lua macadamia nuts they purchased while in Hawaii.
“Last time, we had a special show celebrating my birthday. This time, we are celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary,” said Ruth. “So to celebrate our anniversary, we decided to take all of our kids back to Hawaii.”
“It was a lot of fun,” added Gary.

1 C butter
3/4 C brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 C macadamia nuts
1 C white chocolate
