UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield Continuing Education has released its Summer 2019 Catalog and is now accepting registrations for upcoming programs.
Continuing Education offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn a new skill, explore a new hobby, and/or take a trip in a convenient, affordable way.
Youth programs include Theatre Camp: Aladdin Jr., Ninja Warrior Camp, Basketball Camp, British Soccer Camp, Gymnastics Camp and Art Camp.
Grandparents and grandchildren ages 9 – 13 are invited to take part in the first-ever offering of Grandparents University! This three-day college experience includes a wide range of classes, including Art, Drama, Science and a field trip to the Planetarium at our Main Camus in Stevens Point.
Try your hand at Marshfield’s first-ever Escape Room! Search for clues and work together to solve puzzles and riddles to complete a mission. This one-hour game is fantastic entertainment and team building for the family, a group of friends, co-workers and more!
Other summer programs include Professor Julie Tharp’s famous Dinner & a Movie. Enjoy homemade ethnic cuisine paired with must-see films. Or enjoy a beautiful boat ride and explore various animal species on our Wisconsin Dells Day Trip.
