Chestnut Center’s Bone Shakin’ Bash a Costume Party for Adults

Chestnut Center to Debut Halloween Arts Exhibit.

Grab a costume and dance to live music at the adult costume dance, Bone Shakin’ Bash, at Chestnut Center for the Arts on Sat. Oct 28. from 7-11.

The costume party was reborn several years ago and has occurred annually since. “We wanted it to be a very fun Halloween-themed party for adult to go to,” said Adam Smrcka, Executive Director. “It’s just a really fun night of affordable entertainment.”

The Pointless Brothers, a longtime local favorite, will be performing rock music. There will be a cash bar and prizes for the best costumes, such as gift certificates that can be redeemed for upcoming events at the center. The Chestnut Center is teaming up with nearby Scotty’s Pizza to provide specials for party-goers who want to get it delivered or eat beforehand.

The night also marks the grand opening of gallery exhibit Tell Tale Arts: Vision of the Macabre, featuring the talents of local, regional, and national artist. The juried exhibit celebrates the ghastly, creepy, and whimsical aspects of All Hallow’s Eve. Event-goers can check it out during the bash.

Tickets can be reserved via Eventbrite, by calling the Center at 715-389-8999 or emailing [email protected]. The cost is $10 per person, $8 for groups over four, or $15 at the door.
