Cheese Cupid Helps Pair Wisconsin Cheese & Wine

Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board Website Makes Cheese and Wine Pairing Fun

Developed by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, a new website is making it easier than ever to find the perfect cheese and wine pairings. CheeseCupid.com allows visitors to choose their cheese or their drink, and the site then unites the choice with their perfect counterpart, taking the guesswork out of wine and cheese pairing.

“Cheese cupid takes the guess work out of pairing Wisconsin cheese with beer and wine,” explained Ann O’Leary, Wisconsin’s 69th Alice in Dairyland. “It offers pairing suggestions in an easy to use format for consumers.”

Also offering recipes and fun facts about Wisconsin cheese, the site is a great way to not only promote America’s Dairyland but also to have fun doing so.

“I think it’s a great tool/promotion for Wisconsin cheese because it makes pairing cheese with beverages very easy,” said O’Leary. “Trying to navigate food pairings can be confusing and Cheese Cupid takes away that burden.”

Whether hosting a dinner party or simply looking for new combinations to enjoy, the site is a great resource for anyone seeking more out of their Wisconsin cheese experience.

“Wisconsin is home to nearly 1,200 master cheesemakers that produce more types, styles and varieties of cheese than any other state,” said O’Leary. “The pride they have in their product and the quality of the cheese is world-renowned. Purchasing Wisconsin cheese, beer and wine goes back to support our farmers, communities, and Wisconsin economy.”
