Cabin Fever Fest Features Family Activities, Timed Race
Tired of being stuck inside? Cabin Fever Fest has the solution. The winter event will include a variety of family activities in downtown Marshfield on Feb. 29.
“Staying in to enjoy the cozy bliss of winter in our homes is sweet, but after a while we relish the opportunity get out and connect over something special,” said Executive Director Kaelie Gomez, Main Street Marshfield.
The day will begin with a morning 2-mile or 5-mile Cabin Fever Run/Walk. The cost is $30 to participate with children 13 and under free. Registration is available at this link. The race is professionally timed with medals awarded to the top two finishers in each age category.
After the race, the Wenzel Family Plaza will host a bonfire, s’mores, afternoon kids’ fun run, cocoa, beer, and more winter activities from 11-4 p.m. The Marshfield High School softball team will be available to run food orders from downtown businesses from 11-2 p.m. so participants can stay to enjoy the festivities.
