Central Wisconsin’s Got Talent Searching for Performers

Talents at Hub City Days, 2018.

Central Wisconsin’s Got Talent continues its search for the brightest and best performers in the central Wisconsin area. CWGT is a talent competition open to performers of all ages demonstrating talent of any kind – music (both vocal and instrumental), dance, gymnastics, juggling, magic tricks, standup comedy, dramatic readings and more.

The competition will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2019 beginning at 4:30 at the Wenzel Family Plaza downtown Marshfield as part of Hub City Days, a local event coordinated by Main Street Marshfield.

While there is no fee to participate, acts are asked to preregister as there are limited time slots available. The acts will be judged by a panel of experienced personnel in the central Wisconsin area. First place award is $300, second place $200.

Events like this wouldn’t happen without the generosity of local businesses like Rembs Funeral Home & Crematory (corporate level sponsor); Merle Norman Day Spa & Boutique and Northern Music Service (both bronze level.)

CWGT is happy to announce that we can once again send one or two acts (if they meet certain criteria) on to the state level youth and teen talent competition in Milwaukee later this summer during the Wisconsin State Fair. Last year Nate Rogers of Marshfield represented us very well and won third place in his division. Jack’s Pizza sponsors that level of competition and provides a top prize of $4000 for both the youth and teen divisions.
