The Block Party
The block party is the perfect way to kick off the summer season right! Main Street Marshfield is inviting everyone down to 300 block of Central Ave to enjoy music, concessions and of course, a beer garden!
On June 17 at 7 p.m., Local Marshfield band In the Groove will hit the stage offering a wide range of music.
“Our focus on great music, superior musicianship and exceptional stage presence. We know the value of a great sounding band performing at volumes that don’t cause brain damage, allowing everyone to have a great time, no ear protection required! Our set list goes beyond your typical bar band fare with our unique and exciting blend of rock, rhythm & blues and funk. We play Janis to Alanis, Maroon 5 to Zepplin and everything in between,” said lead vocalist Amy Schultz.
The band, which started in 2010 also includes Josh Gerstner (lead guitar), John Rickinger (rhythm guitar), Rob Hailey (drums), and Randy Musack (bass guitar).
“In the Groove is super excited to play the block party! Playing at this Main Street Marshfield event gives our friends and followers of the band an opportunity to see us at a fantastic local venue. It also allows us to show the people of Marshfield how talented and fun local bands can be! We are ready to bring the party,” Schultz said.
“How can a HUGE Block Party in the 300 block of Central Ave not be fun? Add live LOCAL music and a Beer Garden and you can’t go wrong! Plus, EVERYONE will be there,” she said.
The Masonic Lodge will provide the delicious concessions and Main Street Marshfield will be running the beer garden.
