Tickets on Sale Now for the Popular Downtown Event
Wine for a good cause on May 13, starting at 11:00am, in downtown Marshfield. Tickets are available April 3 at noon for the Downtown Wine Walk, a fundraiser for Marshfield Area United Way.
“Participants purchase tickets for the event that gain them access to sampling 11 different wine and cheese pairing at various downtown businesses,” said Ashley Winch, Marketing & Campaign Coordinator. “Additionally, participating businesses also have special offers available to Wine Walk participants on this day.”
As a fundraiser that also helps promote downtown businesses, the event is a great way to learn more about all the great things Marshfield’s downtown businesses have to offer, sample different kinds of wines, shop, and dine with friends and family- all while also supporting United Way.
Last year, 125 tickets were available, and tickets were sold out two weeks prior to the event. This year, event organizers hope to double the capacity to 250 participants.
Tickets are on sale starting April 3 at 12:00pm, and can be purchased online at marshfieldareaunitedway.org or at the United Way office (156 S Central Ave). Cost is $25/each or 2 for $45. After May 1, 2017, tickets will be $25/each.
