A Guide to Maple Fall Fest

Usher in the changing season at Maple Fall Fest, celebrating all the best the season has to offer.

This yearly festival at Wildwood Park attracts thousands to puruse 150 food and craft vendors, check out performances, try maple syrup samples, and participate in kid-friendly games and activities. Maple Fall Fest returns September 15-16.

A complete schedule from the Marshfield Convention and Visitors Bureau is available below. New events are a performance and dance lesson by the Central Wisconsin Country Dancers and a Sunday afternoon tour of the Wildwood Zoo. Also kicking off the weekend is a performance by Rising Phoenix in downtown Marshfield on Friday.

Don’t forget to take in a delicious homemade breakfast with real maple syrup both mornings (or have it for lunch – the meal goes until 1pm!). Walk around the park to take in the amazing crafts, traditionally including but not limited to fall decorations, winterwear, furniture, honey and syrup, pet accessories, mums, homemade candles, beauty products, and artistic home decor.

Take the kids to the Kid’s Zone and the petting zoo. The park’s sizable playground also offers a quick distraction from browsing. Watch dance and ballet performances, then stick around for the maple dessert and maple syrup judging contests. To pick up a cookbook with recipes from past winners and more maple recipes, stop by the Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau booth in the Maple Village next to the beer garden.
