40th Annual Farm Show Coming to Marshfield Mall
It’s almost time for the 40th annual Farm Show at Marshfield Mall, a two-day event packed with opportunity for those both inside and outside the agriculture industry.
The largest farm show in Central Wisconsin attracts an estimated 12,000 people each year and will return Feb. 19-20.
“There’s something for almost everyone,” said Stephanie Henning, Special Events Coordinator. “If you’re not a farmer, it’s still interesting to see.”
The show will feature 130 vendors covering insurance, home, auto, and of course, farming.
Visitors will be able to learn industry info and plan for 2020 and beyond from vendors including A & M Concrete and Construction Inc., Alforex Seeds, Chili Implement, Clark Electric Co-op, Eagle Point Solar, Focus on Energy/Techniart, Forward Insurance Agency, Hixwood Metal Inc., Kozlovsky Dairy Equipment, Rib Falls Repair, Schierl Tire and Service, Seehafer Refrigeration, Inc. and Swiderski Equipment.
The National Farm Medicine Center will conduct free skin cancer screenings on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 10-3 p.m. Since those who spend more time out in the sun, like farmers, are at greater risk for skin cancer, the screening is a good time to check over any spots of concern and learn from a dermatologist about what to look for.
Food will be provided by 4-H and a silent auction by the FFA. Also, don’t miss the big equipment that will be stationed in the parking lot. There will be fun opportunities for visitors to win instant prizes by spinning a wheel. Kids can find activities just for them, too.
The 40th Annual Farm Show will take place from 10-4 p.m. each day.
