So I have learned that toddlers have very busy social calendars.
Maybe my pre-parenting self was naive…but this is somewhat surprising to me. I mean my two year old can barely master the issues of potty and eating mess free with utensils, but she practically needs her own Google calendar?
I find myself needing to pick and choose from available events. For example, in the next couple of weeks there are tons of family-friendly events in the Marshfield area to choose from.
Before I had kids, Easter used to mean a Sunday during the springtime… now it means finding pastel outfits for children, pictures with oversized bunnies, multiple egg hunting events and then Easter Sunday. Not to mention there are a few other springtime events to throw in the mix.
So I made a list of some of the upcoming events in Marshfield. I am going to sort through and decide what is best for my family. (Not going to lie, how said events work into naptime might be a high factor in whether they make the cut.)
I am providing the list below. Maybe your family can juggle better than mine and you can make it ALL work. If not, at least you have the information at your fingertips to make your choices. (Please note that this is likely not every upcoming event in the area but represents a good chunk of them.)
