Looking for some family-friendly fun this weekend?
Seehafer Farm Creamery is hosting Maps at the Creamery event this weekend, that should be a good time for all.
Karen Seehafer who owns the Creamery with her husband Ken is excited for the event which will support the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter.
“Come on out to support MAPS and to enjoy a family fun-filled day, “ she said.
The event will feature horse drawn wagon rides and a petting zoo in addition to selling deep friend cheese curds, their hand-scooped ice cream and hamburgers made from their own beef.
Seehafer said they just finished a new area for the petting zoo, which will feature a cow, calf, donkey, pigs, goats, chickens, kittens and dogs.
All proceeds from the event and the ice cream sales will go to MAPS which is a cause dear to Seehafer’s heart.
Of MAPS she said, “It’s a great organization and is certainly needed to take care of animals that are lost or abused.”
“Of course we are animal lovers. We live on a farm, “ she said.
Not only is the event great for kids, it is also really cost effective. The cost is only $4 per person and kids 5 and under are FREE.
Seehafer hopes many people brave the cool weather to check out the Creamery and to support a good cause.
“Come on out and see us,” she said.
